Bumper Bodog Review – What's This Caribbean Casino Got Going For It?
Bodog is one of the oldest-running casinos in the business. It opened its virtual doors back in 1994 and, thankfully, it's still operating today, with a license from Barbuda and Antigua – and even more games than ever before. If you're interested in making an account, then I certainly won't stop you, but this write-up will (hopefully) help you to understand exactly what you're signing up for.
Catering to slots enthusiasts, keen blackjack players, and those who simply can’t resist a generous welcome bonus, Bodog has a comprehensive casino platform that I reckon you’ll like. So, come along with me as I take you through – pretty much – everything there is to know about Bodog.
Super Selection of Slots
We all know that slots make up the bulk of just about every casino catalogue. They’re quick to get started with, fun to play, and sometimes you can land a pretty decent win – I for one, am a big fan. When it comes to slot selection, It's no different at Bodog. There's a various selection of casino slots, around 600 slots on the platform in total, from providers such as Genesis Gaming, Real Time Gaming, and Rival, to name just three. Popular titles include Cleopatra's Coins, Dog Pound and Hole in Won (for the golfing enthusiasts).
Amongst this sizeable collection of slots, I was delighted to find a decent number of progressive jackpot titles (around 30). If you're looking for the biggest jackpots out there then the famous Mega Moolah game is probably your best option, regularly reaching into the millions.
Large Live Dealer Category
The live dealer games are the next biggest draw at Bodog, which is something I'm always happy to see. All of the titles come from Visionary iGaming, meaning you know their games you can trust. The croupiers are excellent, there are no problems with lag and there's a huge range of choice budget-wise. You'll find limits from as little as a single dollar, right the way up to $3000! So, whether you're on an absolute shoestring, or you've got cash to splash, you'll be well catered for. It almost goes without saying that the live dealer section covers all of the usual suspects – blackjack, roulette, baccarat, etc.
The Good Ol' Classics
There are a couple of outliers in the Bodog catalogue, but I'll leave those up to you to find! The last remaining ‘proper' category is the RNG games, card and table. Almost all of these games are proprietary, and they cover all bases. They (along with all of the other games) have been independently tested by iTech labs to verify that they are fair to play.
Bring on the Bonuses
It's the bit we're all here for, bonuses. First, I'll walk you through the welcome bonus and then we'll explore the loyalty program, which, let me tell you, is worth getting involved with.
The welcome bonus is a pretty standard 100% deposit match bonus. However, you can claim up to $600 for your reward, which is pretty sizeable. Better still, there's only a 25x wagering requirement, which sits quite a bit lower than the industry average. If you took the whole bonus, you could be set up for a long time playing on this platform.
As well as the standard welcome bonus, there's also a Bitcoin option. This allows you to claim 150% under exactly the same terms, except (obviously) you have to deposit with Bitcoin – and your 150% can net you up to $900.
Bear in mind that in order to complete the wagering requirement quickly, you'll want to play slot games. These contribute 100% to the wagering, so you can get it clear in time to make the most of that bonus cash!

Rewards Scheme
Next up is one of my personal favorite attributes of the Bodog platform – the rewards scheme. Everyone is entered automatically and there are no requirements that you need to fulfill to remain a member. You earn points for every bet that you please and you can use these points to claim your way through the ranks. A $1 bet is equal to 1 point for video poker and table games, you get 5 points for slots, and 15 for any of those ‘specialty' games I mentioned earlier. Once you climb up a level, you get better rewards and perks. Simple, but genuinely rewarding.
Mobile Gaming
For me, the mobile experience at Bodog is good, but not outstanding. I personally prefer a mobile app. However, if you're not too bothered then the mobile website is excellent. Every single game is properly optimized for mobile, with the screen automatically changing to the correct size. The only people who might want to download an app are the poker players. There's a whole app available for poker and it does provide a significantly better experience than the browser site.
