Dalton Kincaid tore through the secondary for 100 yards, James Cook rushed for another hundred, and somehow the same defense that made Mahomes look untouchable in past seasons suddenly looked human.If Buffalo ever plays like that in January, maybe this rivalry finally tilts the other way. I’m not convinced yet but it’s the first time in years I’ve thought, maybe.
Sam Darnold Looks Like the Quarterback We All Gave Up On
This is turning NFL week 9 into one of those unexpected NFL stories that nobody saw coming. Sam Darnold was supposed to be done in a draft bust who never quite figured it out. But right now, he looks poised, almost surgical.

Bears 47, Bengals 42 In A Game That Didn’t Make Any Sense

The Bears and Bengals combined for 89 points, 11 touchdowns, and over 1,000 yards. Joe Flacco threw for 470 yards, because of course he did, and rookie Caleb Williams caught a touchdown.
The last five minutes were chaos, four touchdowns, back and forth like a pinball machine before Williams hit Colston Loveland for a 58-yard winner with under a minute left.
“It takes years off your life,” Bears safety Kevin Byard said afterward. You believe him when you look at the tape.
For Cincinnati, though, it’s rough. Two weeks in a row scoring nearly 40 and losing both. That’s not bad luck that’s something breaking under pressure NFL week 9.

Cam Little’s Kick That Everyone’s Still Talking About In NFL week 9
There’s something quietly poetic about a kicker deciding a record-breaking week. Cam Little hit a 68-yard field goal, clearing the bar with room to spare. It’s the longest in NFL history, beating Justin Tucker’s old mark.
Seven kicks over 60 yards have already been made this season. The record before? Five.

It feels like a changing of the guard this season. The older quarterbacks still win headlines, but the next wave is already here.
